What a fool I am

The show

If you enjoyed the watching “What a Fool I Am” then Melanie’s editor recommends checking out her song “Distant Star.” The song explores the same passion and longing that What a Fool I am does.

If you’re looking for something more upbeat and exciting then check out “Ginned up.” It’s powerful and oh so fun – You can find Ginned up on Youtube. Find these songs and more online on her website.

It is available for you on iTunes, Spotify, & Melanie’s albums here in her website store.

The Tale Behind the Video

I wrote this on the piano in the middle of a rainy night. All of this was shot in Vancouver (Stanley Park, Vancouver skytrain, Bill Disbrow’s penthouse apartment inEnglish Bay). The crew of 1.5 was Len Rooney & for some of the time J.B Berryman (2nd camera skytrain). We rented lights and a xx for the slow bounce effect on the skytrain.

Cameo appearances (thank you!) by Erik Dekker, James Curtis, a Greenhouse studio engineer. I’ve made music at Greenhouse studios a few times, on this day, nothing was recorded, but comfortable familiar.
